Below is a delicious eggnog, sugar cookie recipe that I’m sure many people will enjoy through the holidays:
What You Will Need to do:
– ¾ cup of softened butter
– 1 cup of brown sugar
– 1 egg
– 1 tsp of vanilla extract
– 2 ½ cups of flour
– 2 tsp of nutmeg
– ½ tsp of baking powder
– ¼ tsp of salt
– icing or whatever other topping you would like on the top of the cookies
What You Need to do:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
2. In a bowl, beat the butter until it becomes fluffy.
3. Beat the brown sugar, egg and vanilla to the bowl.
4. In another bowl, mix the flour, nutmeg, salt and baking powder together.
5. Now stir the contents of the separate bowl into the bowl with the butter mixture. Continue to mix until everything has become smooth.
6. Now divide into discs and place in the refrigerator, for about an hour, so that the dough becomes firm.
7. Now roll out the dough on a floured surface and make into the desired shapes you’d like with a cookie cutter.
8. Place the cookies on a greased baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes or until the bottoms become golden.
9. Decorate with the desired icing or anything whatever you desire and enjoy!
