Below is a recipe to make the infamous Kraft Miracle Whip at home.  As always, I’d love to hear any suggestions you may have to tweak this recipe.

–  4 egg yolks
–  1 tsp salt
–  2 Tbsp sugar
–  2 tsp dry mustard
–  6 Tbsp vinegar or 6 Tbsp of lemon juice
–  3 cups salad oil
–  3 Tbsp flour
–  1 cup boiling water
–  ¼ cup of vinegar

1.  With an electric mixer or blender, blend egg yolks, salt, sugar and 2 Tbsp vinegar (or lemon juice).

2.  Next, add 1 cup oil, slowly.  Add remaining oil, carefully and then add remaining vinegar.  Make sure that everything is well blender before adding the next item.

3.  In separate bowl, mix flour, mustard, boiling water and ¼ cup of vinegar (this shouldn’t be substituted for lemon juice) together until smooth.

4.  Now pour everything into a saucepan and cook slowly until everything is smooth.

5.  Finally, blend everything togeth and place in a container to cool in the fridge.

About Dino
There are many things that I love to do. One of those things is crafts! If I could find a job that involved crafts and being able to pay the bills, I'd be all over it! I've also found a great love for cooking and baking in the past few years. Sometimes there doesn't seem to be enough time in the day to be able to fully get into cooking and baking to the degree that I would like to. I've also found myself making a HUGE effort to save my family money. I'm still a beginner but I'm surprised at how many different ways I've found to save money, including starting to use coupons! I hope you enjoy all that I'm about to share.
