Recipe for Applebee’s Honey Glaze

One of my favourite restaurants is Applebee’s.  Here’s a recipe which is if not exactly the same, it’s pretty close to being the same.

What You Will Need:

–   ½ cup of cider vinegar

–   ½ cup of beef stock

–   ½ cup of soy sauce

–   1 cup of dark brown sugar

–   ½ cup of honey

–   1/8 cup of Worcestershire sauce

–   1 Tbsp of whiskey

–   1 Tbsp of vegetable oil

–   ¼ tsp of liquid smoke

–   a dash of Tabasco sauce

–   1 Tbsp of garlic

–   2 tsp of cornstarch and a little bit of water to thicken

What You Will Need to do:

1.   Mix all of the liquid ingredients in a saucepan so that it slowly simmers.

2.   Now slowly add the sugar and garlic but make sure to keep stirring while you are doing this.

3.   Next, add the cornstarch/water mixture until it is completely dissolved and keep stirring.

4.   Keep stirring on low to medium heat, like you were making gravy, until it has thickened.

About Dino
There are many things that I love to do. One of those things is crafts! If I could find a job that involved crafts and being able to pay the bills, I'd be all over it! I've also found a great love for cooking and baking in the past few years. Sometimes there doesn't seem to be enough time in the day to be able to fully get into cooking and baking to the degree that I would like to. I've also found myself making a HUGE effort to save my family money. I'm still a beginner but I'm surprised at how many different ways I've found to save money, including starting to use coupons! I hope you enjoy all that I'm about to share.
