Tortellini in Creamy Rose Sauce Recipe

Here’s a recipe that I constantly use from Kraft Kitchens.  Everyone in the family absolutely loves it and I thought I’d share it.

What You Will Need:

–   1 Tbsp of olive oil

–   1 chopped onion

–   1 minced clove of garlic

–   1 ½ cups of chicken broth

–   1 package (about 9 oz) of either cheese or beef tortellini

–   1 cup of spaghetti sauce (I find the Primo sauce taste great with this recipe)

–   ½ cup of cream cheese

–   4 cups of lightly packed baby spinach leaves

–   ¼ cup of parmesan cheese

What You Will Need to do:

1.   On medium heat, heat up about 1 Tbsp of oil in a large skillet.

2.   Cook onions in garlic in skillet first for about 5 minutes.

3.   Now stir in the broth and spaghetti sauce.  Bring to a boil.

4.   Add the pasta and keep stirring.

5.   Before the pasta is completely cooked, at the cream cheese.  Keep stir all of this for another 5 minutes.

6.   When the pasta is fully cooked, turn off the heat and constantly stir the spinach for about a minute.

7.   Once the spinach is just starting to wilt, add the parmesan on top and you’re ready to serve.

About Dino
There are many things that I love to do. One of those things is crafts! If I could find a job that involved crafts and being able to pay the bills, I'd be all over it! I've also found a great love for cooking and baking in the past few years. Sometimes there doesn't seem to be enough time in the day to be able to fully get into cooking and baking to the degree that I would like to. I've also found myself making a HUGE effort to save my family money. I'm still a beginner but I'm surprised at how many different ways I've found to save money, including starting to use coupons! I hope you enjoy all that I'm about to share.
