Mickey Mummy Cupcakes


I can’t get over how adorable this cupcake idea is which I found at the which I found at the Spoonful website (with some revisions to simplify).


What You Will Need:

–   12 baked cupcakes

–   wax paper

–   confectioner’s sugar

–   marshmallows

–   white frosting

–   chocolate nonpareil candies

–   chocolate covered raisins


What You Will Need to do:

1.   Working on top of wax paper dusted with confectioners sugar, use a rolling pin to flatten a bunch of the marshmallows.


2.  With scissors to cut the rolled marshmallows into this strips.

3.   Frost the cupcakes as you normally would.  Press a pair of nonpareil candies into the frosting to make the ears.  Then add a pair of the raisins for the eyes.


4.   Now randomly place the marshmallow strips over each cupcake, leaving the eyes exposed, like a mummy.  Gently press the strips into the icing so they will stick.


5.   Once the cupcakes are covered to your liking, use the scissors to trim off the access marshmallow.
