Bacon and Spinach Mashed Potatoes Recipe

Make something a little different this season by adding bacon and spinach to your mashed potatoes

What You Will Need:

–   About 2 pounds of potatoes

–   1 Tbsp of butter

–   1/3 cup of bacon pieces

–   2-3 cloves of minced garlic (depending on preference)

–   1 – 300g package of frozen spinach

–   1 container (250g) of herb and garlic cream cheese

What You Will Need to do:

1.   Boil potatoes as usual, until they are tender.

2.   While you’re waiting for the potatoes to cook, melt the butter in a saucepan.

3.   Once the butter is melted, stir in the bacon and garlic.

4.   Next, add the spinach and cook the contents of the saucepan for about two minutes.

5.   Drain the potatoes, add the cream cheese and mash the potatoes.

6.   Once the potatoes are mashed, stir in the contents of the saucepan and enjoy!

About Dino
There are many things that I love to do. One of those things is crafts! If I could find a job that involved crafts and being able to pay the bills, I'd be all over it! I've also found a great love for cooking and baking in the past few years. Sometimes there doesn't seem to be enough time in the day to be able to fully get into cooking and baking to the degree that I would like to. I've also found myself making a HUGE effort to save my family money. I'm still a beginner but I'm surprised at how many different ways I've found to save money, including starting to use coupons! I hope you enjoy all that I'm about to share.
