Spinach Stuffed Mushrooms Recipe

Here a tasty recipe that is a twist to the usual stuffed mushrooms that you see or make.

 

What You Will Need:

 

–   1 cup hot water

–   1 pkg Stove Top Stuffing Mix for Chicken

–   roughly 30 fresh mushrooms

–   1 Tbsp butter margarine

–   1 minced clove garlic

–   1 pkg frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well-drained

–   3/4 cup grated Mozzarella

–   3/4 cup Parmesan Grated Cheese

 

What You Will Need to do:

 

1.   Preheat your oven to 400°F.

 

2.   Add the hot water to the stuffing and stir until it is all moist.

 

3.   Remove stems from the mushrooms.  Then chop the stems up and place in a saucepan with butter.  Add the garlic to the pan and cook until tender.

 

4.   Add the spinach, cheeses and stuffing to the saucepan and mix together.

 

5.   Spoon the mixture into the mushroom caps.  Place stuffed mushrooms in a pan and bake for 20 minutes.

Pumpkin Pie Shake Recipe

 

Here is a mouthwatering shake idea that isn’t loaded with all the extra unnecessary items.
What You Will Need:
– 2 cups of softened vanilla ice cream
– 1 cup of milk
– 2/3 cup of canned pumpkin
– 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
– 3/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
– thawed whipped topping
What You Will Need to do:
In your blender, combine all the ingredients (except for the whipped topping) together and mix until completely smooth. Pour into a glass, place desired amount of whipped topping on top and enjoy!

 

Korean Beef Skewers Recipe

 

 
Make this authentic dish at home much easier than you’d ever anticipate.
What You Will Need:
– 2 Tbsp soy sauce
– 2 Tbsp honey
– 1 Tbsp minced gingerroot
– 1 minced clove garlic
– 1 lb. beef flank steak
– 2 tsp hot chili sauce
– 1 tsp sesame seed
– 1 thinly sliced green onion
– 1/4 cup + 3 Tbsp Kraft Asian Sesame Dressing (I use this particular sauce as it seems that it is the easiest to get my hands on)
What You Will Need to do:
 
1. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, honey, ginger root, garlic and sesame dressing together.
2. Cut the steak across the grain into roughly ¼” thick pieces.
3. Coat the steak pieces with the mixture from step 1. Let this marinate for at least 30 minutes; however, the longer you let marinate the better this recipe seems to taste.
4. Remove meat from marinade, place the meat on skewers and then place on a baking sheet.
5. Set your oven to broil and broil for 5-6 minutes.
6. While you’re waiting, mix the chili sauce and remaining dressing together which can be brushed on the meat right before you’re ready to serve. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and onions and enjoy!

 

Salsa Roll Ups Recipe

I love these little snacks and the combination of ingredients in this recipe makes for a perfect treat.
What You Will Need:
– 125g (1/2 a package) of softened cream cheese
– 3 Tbsp of salsa
– 2 spinach tortillas (or I find the tomato tortilla tastes good with this recipe too)
– 1/2 cup of grated cheddar cheese
– 1/2 tsp of chili powder
What You Will Need to do:
1. Blend the cream cheese and salsa together. Once blended, spread onto the tortillas.
2. Distribute the rest of the ingredients on top of the salsa mixture.
3. Tightly roll together and cut into 8-10 slices per tortilla.
Enjoy!

 

Pesto Puff Pastry Twists Recipe

These great pastry twists are great with salad, pasta or so much more which is quick and easy.

What You Will Need:

–   1 package of frozen butter puff pastry, thawed

–   4 Tbsp of pesto

What You Will Need to do:

1.   Preheat your oven to 425°F.

2.   On a floured surface, roll out the pastry into 10-inch square and then brush with pesto.

3.   Cut in half crosswise and then cut each half crosswise into 24 equal strips.

4.   Starting from centre of each strip, twist to form like a straw.  Bake for 12 minutes or until the twists are crisp and golden.

Homemade Peanut Butter Cups Recipe

 

 

Save some money by making your own peanut butter cups and I also think these taste better too!

 

What You Will Need:

–   1 cup creamy peanut butter

–   4 ½ tsp butter

–   1/2 cup sugar

–   1/2 tsp salt

–   2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

–   3/4 cup of milk chocolate, coarsely chopped

 

What You Will Need to do:

1.   In a bowl, combine 1/2 cup of peanut butter, butter, sugar and salt together until smooth.

2.   In the microwave, melt the chocolate chips, milk chocolate and remaining peanut butter together until smooth.  I usually melt in 30 second intervals, stir and then repeat until melted.

3.   Drop tsps of chocolate mixture into small paper muffin cups.  Top each with a tsp of peanut butter mixture, top with another tsp of chocolate mixture.

4.    Refrigerate until set.  Store in an airtight container.

Bacon Salad Dressing Recipe

 

 My husband loves bacon so this salad dressing is made at home quite a bit:
What You Will Need:
–   2 slices of bacon
–   4 thinly sliced green onions
–   2 minced cloves of garlic
–   1/4 cup of red wine vinegar
–   2 tsp of sugar
–   1 tsp of coarse mustard
–   1/4 tsp of pepper
What You Will Need to do:
1.   In a skillet, cook the bacon until crisp.   Once the bacon is cooked, remove from skillet, place on paper towel and crumb but reserve 2 Tbsp of the bacon grease.
2.   Add the green onions and garlic to the bacon grease in the skillet.  Cook until the onions become tendered.
3.   Next, stir in the vinegar, sugar, mustard and pepper.
4.   Now stir in the crumbled bacon.  Continue to stir until everything has warm throughout.
Tastes great served warm on salad.
