Cinnamon Glazed Almond Recipe

Make this snack to enjoy any time of the day or night.

What You Will Need:

–   1/3 cup of butter

–   2 egg whites

–   1/2 tsp of salt

–   1 cup of sugar

–   3 cups of whole almonds

–   4 tsp of cinnamon

What You Will Need to do:

1.   Preheat your oven to 325°F.

2.    Place butter in a jellyroll pan and melt butter in the oven.

3.   In a bowl, beat the egg whites and salt together.  Slowly add the sugar.

4.   Gently fold in the almonds and cinnamon.

5.   Pour almond mixture onto jellyroll pan – toss with butter.

6.   Bake for 40 minutes, flipping every 10 minutes, until the almonds become crisp.

Mocha Almond Recipe

Below is a way to change up the plain, somewhat boring almonds:

 

What You Will Need:

–   2 cups of whole almonds

–   6 Tbsp of sugar

–   1 Tbsp of instant coffee

–   2 Tbsp of unsweetened cocoa powder

–   1 egg white

 

What You Will Need to do:

1.   Preheat your oven to 325°F.

2.   In a blender, mix the sugar, instant coffee and cocoa powder together.

3.   In a bowl, whisk the egg white until it becomes frothy.

4.   Next, at the almonds to the egg white and coat completely.

5.   Add the mixture from the blender to the almonds and completely coat.

6.   Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray and evenly spread the almonds on the sheet.

7.   Bake for 15 minutes, try to flip over and bake for another 10 minutes.

8.   Let almonds cool completely before enjoying.

 

Spicy Flavoured Almonds Recipe

Here is a great almond recipe that will be like a firecracker in your mouth:

 

What You Will Need:

–   2 tsp of chilli powder

–   1 tsp of garlic powder

–   1 tsp of curry powder

–   1 tsp of cayenne pepper

–   1 Tbsp of olive oil

–   ½ tsp of hot pepper sauce

–   2 cups of plain toasted almonds

 

What You Will Need to do:

1.   In a pan, combine the oil, chilli powder, curry and garlic powder together.

2.   Once the contents of the pan have started to bubble, stir in the almonds and heat them up thoroughly.  This will probably take 3-4 minutes.

3.   Remove from heat and stir in the pepper sauce and cayenne pepper.  Let the almonds cool down before serving.
