Frugal Tip ~ Homemade and Reusable Baby Wipes

Have you heard or do you use alternatives to reusable baby wipes?  I’m curious to hear any suggestions.  I’ve found an idea and curious if anyone has tried yet?  To replace your average baby wipe, cut old t-shirts or worn cloth diapers into your average wipe size.  Next, combine 2 tablespoons of baby shampoo with 2 cups water.  After, soak the t-shirt/diaper scraps until they are really wet.  Squeeze out the excess liquid.  Make sure to store them in a plastic airtight container/bag.

Frugal Tip ~ Deodorize Your Diaper Pail

Does it seem that no matter what you do, you can never get that diaper pail to smell okay?  Try sprinkling some baking soda at the bottom of the diaper pail.  If it doesn’t seem to be working, try pouring a little more baking soda in the pail.
